Purchase and Cancellation Rules
It is important that you read through our purchase and cancellation rules before booking a visit with us.
1. The Written Confirmation
The visit is considered confirmed once you have received a written booking confirmation, either via our booking system on our website or directly from an employee. If you have any questions regarding your confirmation, you can contact us at visit@a-r-c.dk.
2. Payment
Payment must be made 4 weeks before the visit date. For bookings made less than four weeks before the visit date, the full amount is due immediately.
3. Timely Cancellation and Compensation Claims
Cancellations can be made in a timely manner by providing written notice no later than 1 week before the visit date. If cancellation occurs less than five business days before the visit, ARC reserves the right to claim compensation equivalent to the full amount of the visit.
4. No Show
In the event of non-attendance on the day of the visit, also known as a “no show,” ARC reserves the right to invoice the full amount for the visit.
5. Force Majeure
In the case of force majeure circumstances beyond the control of both parties (such as natural disasters, war, pandemics, or other extraordinary circumstances), cancellations or terminations may occur without cost to either party. Both parties are obligated to inform each other of such circumstances as soon as possible.
ARC may also be forced to cancel the visit at short notice if the operation of the waste-to-energy plant makes a tour impossible, or if ARC tour guides fall ill, in which case the full amount will be refunded.
